Project Overview:
The Support to Community Resilience Project (SCORE) aims to enhance community resilience in rural areas by implementing Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) practices. Funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), this project is implemented by the Rural Development Organization (RDO).
Objectives:
1. Strengthen community capacity for disaster preparedness and response.
2. Identify and mitigate disaster risks.
3. Enhance livelihoods and economic resilience.
4. Foster collaboration among local governments, communities, and stakeholders.
Key Activities:
1. Community risk assessments and mapping.
2. Disaster management planning and training.
3. Infrastructure support (e.g., flood protection, water harvesting).
4. Livelihood enhancement initiatives (e.g., agriculture, entrepreneurship).
5. Capacity building for local institutions.
